FAQ: 1.Issue: HID or LED kit fails to switch on? Solutions:You may have a reverse polarity issue. If you’re using an HID kit: Rotate the ballast input (red or black oval) 2-pin connector 180 degrees. Increase the fuses (both in the car fuse box and the relay harness) to 20A. Check all connections. Check the grounds (if the HID kit is installed with the relay wiring harness) 2.Issue: Bi-Xenon, Low Xenon or High Halogen headlights reverse low beam for high beam and high beam for a low one, or one of the beams doesn’t operate. (This concerns the dual beam bulb sizes as follows: H4/9003, H13/9008, 9004/HB1 and 9007/HB5)? Solutions: Release the pins in the 3-pin connector and reorder them. You may need several attempts to determine the proper configuration. 3.Issue: HID lights flicker? Solutions: If you have a single beam and low xenon / high halogen headlights: Install a relay harness with load resistors. Disable the DRL and/or automotive lights. Increase the fuse strength both in the car fuse box and the relay harness to 20A. Check all the connections. Clean them if necessary. Check the car battery. It should be delivering a minimum of 12V. If you’re using a BI-XENON: Install load resistors; the links are as follows: H4 / 9003, H13 / 9008, 9004 / HB1, 9007 / HB5. Disable DRL and/or automotive lights. Raise the fuses in both the car fuse box and relay harness to 20A. Check all the connections. Clean them if necessary. Check the car battery. It should be providing a minimum of 12V. 4.Issue: Only one side of the HID headlights is working? Solutions: Check all the connections. Clean them if necessary. Check if the bulb or ballast is faulty (i.e. swapping the bulbs to test if it works on other side). 5.Issue: The ballasts make noise when you turn on the car? Solutions: Ballasts absorb power when you turn on your engine. Ignore the noise. It will subside after you switch it on and off a few times. 6.Issue: The colors the HID bulbs emit in the headlights differ? Solutions: New light bulbs may differ slightly for the first few hours, but they are likely to even out within a short period of time. The housings require alignment because their heights differ. If this is the case, we recommend getting the help of a professional mechanic.Cleaning the lenses may resolve the issue.Check if the bulb or ballast is faulty (i.e. swapping the bulbs to test if it works on other side). 7.Issue: The HIDs work when the engine is off, but the lights shut down when you start your car? Solution: Install a relay harness with load resistors. 8.Issue: The beam pattern is not accurate? Solutions: The housings require alignment. We recommend getting the help of a professional mechanic. Since the reflectors diffract light, we recommend switching to projector housings. WARNINGS: Please read all the warnings before installation to avoid personal injury and damage to your vehicle or to your HID and LED systems. These systems produce high voltage electricity that may be the source of DANGER. Therefore, we do recommend PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION.These systems produce heat that may be the source of DANGER. Therefore, we highly recommend PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION: DO NOT dissemble or modify the ballasts, wire harnesses, or bulbs. DO NOT use damaged components. DO NOT mount ballasts, resistors, or warning cancellers in NON-HEAT-RESISTANT SURFACE DO NOT look directly into the xenon light. This may cause damage to your eyes. DO NOT turn the lights on before you start the engine to avoid battery drainage. In case of a car accident, make sure to turn off the car\'s power to prevent high voltage electric leakage from damaged product components.
